A brilliant day at Blue Planet Aquarium

Year Two enjoyed a fantastic day at Blue Plant Aquarium to support their Science work on animals and their habitats.

As well as seeing a multitude of fish including clownfish, blue tangs, sharks and piranhas, the boys also saw tortoise, snakes, geckos and poisonous frogs.

They heard all about starfish who, despite having neither a brain nor a heart, can regrow their legs and clone themselves. They really are quite remarkable creatures!

A super day was had by all. The boys came back to school bursting with knowledge and with a new appreciation of the brilliance of nature.
