Two teams of Year 5 & 6 boys visited Rossall School to participate in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) Challenge Day.
The day involved a 'blind challenge' which saw the boys being tasked with designed, creating and building a vehicle, using only the tools and equipment in their challenge bag. The brief also stated that the winning vehicle had to travel the furthest distance but only powered by air.
Our boys put their head together, each team working impressively as they planned, discussed, sketched and tested their designs.
After lunch in the impressive dining hall the boys tested their models and modified to ensure their vehicles travelled in the correct direction and as far a possible.
The boys had a fun day and were a credit to the school - well done boys!
