Year 3 Visit from the Dentist

Year 3 had a fun afternoon on Wednesday when local Dentist, Mark Fryar, came into Marlborough Road to explain how to keep their teeth healthy, as part of our Science topic. They looked at a range of food deciding which were "good" or "bad" for their teeth. This caused a lot of discussion, as they were amazed at how many tea spoons of sugar, a small carton of apple juice has in it! The boys learnt how to brush their teeth correctly and were then tested using discloing tablets to see just how well they could brush; congratulations to Elliot Sands and James Herward who were the top brushers in the Year!
