Harvest at APS Peeping through a school stage bedecked with harvest goodies are two Altrincham Preparatory School six-year-old pupils. After the annual service of modern and traditional songs of thanksgiving, the Salvation Army collected all the produce for distribution to inner city families, Hulme Pensioners Community Group and Oaklands residential home also in Hulme. APS Headmaster Mr Andrew Potts said: "Our Harvest Festival not only provides an opportunity for our community to get together to celebrate an important event in our calendar year but it also allows for us to extend our support to those in our local community who are less well off and needy." |
