Year 6 APS boys visit France

Year 6 boys at APS have recently been on a successful trip to the Chateau de la Baudonnière in Normandy for a week of fun and French! The boys sampled archery, fencing, canoeing, climbing and the muddiest assault course ever – all conducted "en Français" with French instructors. The boys discovered that it is very useful to know the French for "I would like to come down now, please" when you are at the top of the climbing wall waiting to descend! In addition to the activities, there was also an educational and thoroughly enjoyable day trip to Arromanches with a visit to the D-Day Museum and the 360° cinema.

Perhaps the trip is best summed up with some of the boys' comments about their stay.
