Reception classes at Altrincham Preparatory School enjoyed a wonderful start to the Easter holidays as they took part in an Easter egg hunt in the glorious grounds of Bell Field, next to our state of the art EYFS building.
The boys had spent time designing and colouring some impressive Easter baskets to put their eggs in, and had a fantastic afternoon not only exploring Bell Field's daffodil-lined parkland but helping each other to find three eggs each.
"It was so much fun," said Ethan. "I spent ages colouring in my basket and nearly as long trying to find my eggs!"
"Our annual Easter Egg Hunt is always such a lovely afternoon," said Mrs Makepeace Taylor. "The boys working in groups to help each other find eggs is something we really encourage - it's not just a mad free-for-all. It teaches them about teamwork in a really fun environment and it's fantastic for us to have the resource of Bell Field for them to explore.
