Diary

I found better internet today and seem to be able to add a few more photos for your viewing pleasure - enjoy! (there are will be lots more to follow.)

A very busy day for all. After a fairly good night's sleep the dorms started to awake about 6 am but some were still asleep at 7 (not sure how)! Breakfast was a resounding success and so off to our activities. The weather has been beautiful and the bug spray has been very useful.

Half the year group had chemistry experiments where we made balloons inflate with gas from vinegar and bicarbonate of soda, sent a cola bottle exploding with mentos, moved milk with washing up liquid, messed about with ultraviolet light and suncream and threw about some homemade goo that changed from liquid to solid in no time atall.

The other session today saw the groups doing outdoor activities - the giant swing and jacob's ladder that looked easy and was far from it! You should have seen some of the faces. These challenges were well outside of our comfort zones but I am very proud to say everyone gave it a go and had a fabulous time.

Tonight we might get a little damp as its 'Splash'.

We will return tomorrow with some very tired boys, all being well we will be back by 3:30pm.
