YEAR 2
Year 2 thoroughly enjoyed their end of year trip to Formby Beach. They built sand castles with flowing
moats and went exploring in the rock pools. The boys had a great warm up playing Hot Potato !
We have been learning about the life cycle of
butterflies. Over this half term the boys have
taken care of the chrysalides that developed
from their caterpillars. The boys watched in
wonder as butterflies finally emerged and
were set free in our playground.
Boys have been
learning about the Jewish Religion and very much
enjoyed the visit to our local Synagogue.
Boys were amazed to see the Torah and were
fascinated to discover that if the Rabbi dropped the
Torah scroll the whole congregation would have to
fast for a day.
Boys were able to see the mezuzahs, the two sepa-
rate kitchens for milk and meat and were even able
to visit the Ladies Gallery.
