Harvest at APS
A host of smiling faces thanked God for his abundance at a traditional harvest festival at Altrincham Preparatory School. The school was grateful that the natural cycle had returned with this year's bumper crops following last year's blighted harvest.
Altrincham Preparatory School Headmaster Andrew Potts said: "Embedded in any true celebration of harvest are fundamental Christian values that are as important for our children to understand as they ever were. In these days of concern about global warming, harvest festival is a reminder that the world around us is not ours to do with as we like but is a gift that has been entrusted to us by God." After the Harvest Festival the goods were taken to the Wood Street Mission in Manchester.
