Mini pizza chefs top the lot

Altrincham Preparatory School boys enjoyed a school trip that topped the lot with a visit to Hale's Pizza Express.

Local managers Nuria Ojeda and Carlos Telo told the children how the food came from the farm to the table, before top chef Artur Butlykin showed the boys how to make a classic Neapolitan pizza.

There were also lessons in nutrition, food hygiene, packaging and storage as the mini commis chefs toured the kitchen, fridges and freezers.

APS Year 2 Teacher Cath Webb said: "The visit offers so much in term of science, social education and geography, but just as importantly is great fun and fantastic on the taste buds."
