Royal Wedding Celebrations at APS - May 2011

The bunting was out at Altrincham Preparatory School's Infant Department as the youngest members of the community staged their own traditional street party.

All week Kate and William had featured in the boys' English, History and Art lessons with a special celebration prior to the big day.

APS Deputy Headteacher Caroline Austen said: "We wanted to wish the lovely couple the happiest of futures together. I am sure Queen Elizabeth and the future King Charles will be on the throne for many years, but William is likely to be this generation's monarch and it is only fitting to celebrate this wonderful occasion in truly traditional style. "
