Being a Manchester City Mascot - Sept 2011

Luke in Year 3 was the mascot at Manchester City on Saturday 17th September. He wrote about his day:

"It was very exciting being a mascot for Manchester City on Saturday 17th September .

47000 people were watching me run out with the team and do a penalty shoot out with Joe Hart !

First I had a tour of the ground.It was astonishing to see all the players, they all signed my shirt including my favourite players Tevez, Aguero, Silva and Hart.

I went to the dressing room and saw where they get changed and saw that they each had at least 3 pairs of football boots .Some of the players even had their names on their boots, (I was very excited to see that the Captain Vincent Kompany has the same boots as me) !

I met the mascots Moonchester and Moonbeam.

I also had my photo taken in Mancini's seat in the dug out,which was fun.

It was one of the best days of my life "
