Trip to MOSI - Year 2

Year 2 had a fascinating and enlightening trip to MOSI today. Consolidating and extending their knowledge on forces and electricity, the boys enjoyed workshops learning about the first transatlantic flight made by Jack Alcock in 1919 as well as an electirfying session on the historic Dickinson Street power station which produced Manchester's electricity back at the turn of the last century.  Everyone enjoyed the interactive fun of the 'Experiment' section in the museum and the very exciting 4D cinema experience (despite the dinosaur poop!). A big thank you to all our parent helpers for their support, especially Mr George for volunteering to do a parachute jump! Fortunately Madame Hammond and Mrs Hobbs were not electrocuted during the trip despite the best efforts of the boys' pedal power.
