We hope you all have a lovely Easter holiday and we look forward to a fabulous Summer Term…
In the first half of term we were thinking about
‘Materials’ and ‘Recycling’. We enjoyed working in
teams, re-using our old rubbish to make junk models.
We first planned our individual designs on paper.
Then, in our teams, we created a computerised final
design. Next we constructed our models with the help
of some very kind parents. Then we applied papier
-mâché to make the models stronger. Finally we
painted and decorated them ready for display.
Do pop in to see the boys’ amazing creations!

Chicks hatch!
As part of our ‘Living Things’ topic we have been thinking about the life
cycles of many plants and animals, including chickens!
Thanks to Farmer John, from Sugar Brook Farm, we were given 60 eggs
to keep safe and warm in an incubator.
After 21 days our little eggs began to hatch.
We now have 23 fluffy chicks to look after,
with more hatching every day!
Well done to all the boys for helping to care for the chicks and a big
thank you to our Mother Hens, Mrs Dawkins and Mrs Shea!
