YEAR 4
Learning RE-located
Thanks to the support of our friends in the
community this Summer term, the Year 4
boys have had some great learning
experiences outside of the classroom.
Will and Miles at St. Mary’s gave the boys a
tour of the church, taking in not only many
of the religious elements but also the
historical information hidden within the
building. The boys also had the opportunity
to explore the graveyard, look at some
specific graves of interest and collect some
historical data as well.
We are also indebted to Mrs. Anis (mother
of Sulaiman in Y5) who, once again, invited
the boys to the Altrincham mosque in order
for them to gain a greater insight of the
Islamic religion. The boys were delighted by
the end of their visit in being able to write
their names in Arabic; and the chocolate
brownie treats went down exceedingly well
(as you can imagine).
Great ’hands-on’ experiences for the boys
and fun learning.
A Resounding success!
Men of the cloth
Alex Erlam of 4S seems to suit the regalia of
a vicar very well indeed.
