YEAR 3
In our playground we can shout,
Boys are rolling marbles about.
Children racing up and down,
Teacher frowns, saying “Don’t mess
around”.
People drawing at the bench,
Boys are trying out their French,
When the bell goes.....Silence
By Edward J
In our playground we can run,
We play football in the sun.
We run as fast as we can,
I sometimes feel like superman.
We play Tig almost every day,
I play with my friend Shay.
We also play basket ball,
But I’m not that good, because I’m quite
small.
This is the end of my poem,
My name is Ben now I better get going.

In Our Playground
In our playground we can run,
Playing games in the sun,
Boys are playing I-spy,
Girls always trying to lie,
When the bell goes
SILENCE
By Zac
Morning Break
Benjamin plays basketball
Sid his hitting a four
Others play netball
John does a loud roar.
Someone is rolling marbles
Kieran is scoring a goal
While David does lots of fouls
Someone is using a sick bowl.
Edward pretends to be Chris
Gayle
Angus is playing tig
Zac is sheltering from hail-
stones
Paul is eating a fig.
Tony’s running like a hound
Andrew’s using his laser gun
Zapping at the smooth ground
Den’s eating a squashed bun.
What a lot of nonsense
At morning break!

In our playground we can yell,
And shout around and mess as
well,
Children talking and playing games,
All are calling different names,
Nobody is ever still,
Playing marbles gives me a thrill,
People charging around the grass,
And shouting at the other class,
When the bell goes
SILENCE
