We grew beans and investigated how plants grew by a carrying out a range of experiments. We
learned a little more about gardens and plants when we visited Eureka
!
We had a fantastic day
and most of us want to go again!
While we were there we played hard as well!
The weather has provided us with
some interesting opportunities for
learning. Our new weather station
on top of the pavilion provides us
with the temperature, rainfall and
wind information. We learnt about
weather around the world and sent
postcards from different climatic
zones.
Swimming has been a major highlight of this term
with the boys having their weekly lessons at Altrin-
cham Leisure Centre. Most of the boys are becoming
competent swimmers and with a bit of extra swim-
ming over the holidays will be able to start Year 4
lessons with confidence. Our gala on 30th June was a
great success with all the boys competing at their
level.
Now it’s time to
say
GOODBYE
to Year 3 and
HELLO
to Year
4!
We’ve all made
a fantastic start
to our Junior
years.
