Year 6 Trip to France 2013
Year 6's trip to Chateau De La Baudonniere, Normandy, for 6 days of fun filled activities, speaking French and visiting the historic D-Day landing beach at Arromanches. It's an annual trip and the boys love it!
Diary
We have had a fantastic week at Chateau de la Baudonniere.
Friday 3rd May
All wide awake and busy packing to come home. The sun is shining for our last morning at the chateau.
It has been a great week.
Thursday 2nd May
The weather has turned - overcast and drizzle.
After a good nights sleep we are ready for our breakfast then are heading to Arromanches.
Have been to the 360 degree cinema and the D-Day museum at Arromanches - and even managed to fit in a little shopping!
Wednesday 1st May
There are a lot of muddy boys this morning!
We have been at the mini farm feeding the animals and now about to commence our afternoon activities - either assault course, fencing, archery or initiative exercises. We are all having lots of fun - smiles and laughter all round.

Tuesday 30th April
Bonjour!
The sun is peeking out from behind a few clouds but day ahead looks promising. We are heading off to our morning activities - the groups are climbing, canoeing and fencing.
We are looking forward to going out to the creperie this evening.
Monday 29th April
Croissants and hot chocolate set us up for a morning of activities. The groups have been either climbing, fencing & canoeing. Weather a little chilly but the sun is out.
A fun filled afternoon - on the muddy assault course, canoeing and bread making.
Sunday 28th April
Arrived safely, settling in and finding out where everything is.
Just eaten our first dinner in France (the chocolate tart proved popular!!) and now on a tour of the chateau grounds. The sun is shining - lets hope it continues to do so all week!
