Registration Form and Prospectus Information
Admissions Procedure during Social Distancing
We would like to reassure prospective parents that we are welcoming applications to join the APS family. However, we have made some minor adjustments to our application processes for prospective pupils in response to Covid-19. To apply for a place for your son, email our admissions team on firstname.lastname@example.org or complete our online admissions form:
Once the registration process is complete, we shall be delighted to arrange a Zoom meeting with our Head and we can accommodate 'socially distanced' visits to school by appointment to appreciate the breadth of our curriculum and the quailty of our provision and facilities. Our admissions team will be available to support you through the process from initial enquiry to welcoming your son to APS with open arms.
Choosing the right school for your son is one of the most important decisions that you will make as a parent and we are here to support and guide you through the process. The main entry points for boys to join the APS Family are Pre-School at the age of 3+ at the 1st September and Reception at age 4+ at the 1st September. To register interest for a place at APS for your son, please complete the following form:
Our admissions team will contact you shortly after and send you a Registration Form and our prospectus information.
Upon receipt of the completed Registration Form and £40 Registration Fee, we will add your son’s name to the list of prospective entrants for that age group. You will receive acknowledgement of this. Approximately 9-12 months prior to your son’s proposed entry, and in the order that the applications have been received, we will invite you to meet our Head via Zoom and organise a 'socially distanced' visit to our school where we will show you around and discuss entry for your son.
Entry at all other ages
Occasionally vacancies for other year groups do arise and the admissions process is the same as for our younger boys with the addition of an assessment that is carried out when your son spends a morning or afternoon at APS, including spending time with the school SENCo. We will advise you of the outcome of the assessment the following day. If it is the case, a formal offer of a place is made in writing with the place being secured with the payment of £500 deposit and the return of the signed Acceptance Form. Additionally, you son’s current school is contacted for a reference and confirmation that all fees, including fees in lieu of notice, have been settled (when this applies). The deposit is returned when your son leaves the school.
Our Open Days in Spring and Autumn provide the ideal opportunity to experience what it is like to be part of our very special APS community and appreciate the breadth of the curriculum that we offer and the quality of our facilities. Keep checking the website for the dates of our next open events and how to register interest.
