Pioneers and Adventures at Little APS

Little APS is where your son's learning journey begins. Our warm, nurturing and inspiring environment provides the very best start for our youngest learners, encouraging them to grow in confidence, independence and curiosity through play, exploration and meaningful relationships.

Open for approximately 47 weeks of the year, from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Little APS offers flexible childcare within the day to support the needs of modern families. Our experienced and caring team creates a safe, happy and supportive environment where every child feels valued, secure and encouraged to reach their full potential.

Our Early Years at Little APS

Within Little APS, children begin their journey in our nursery rooms, Pioneers and Adventurers, before progressing to Explorers (Pre-School).

Each stage is carefully designed to support children's development, build confidence and ensure a smooth transition through their Early Years journey.

Pioneers and Adventurers (Nursery – 47 weeks)

Little APS Nursery provides outstanding early years provision, welcoming children into a safe, happy and caring environment where they are nurtured as individuals from the very beginning.

Learning and Development

As children grow, they are gently introduced to early literacy and mathematics, ensuring they are well prepared for their transition into Explorers (Pre-School).

Recognition and Feedback

Little APS has received excellent feedback from EYFS inspectors, recognising the high-quality provision and the way learning is shaped around children's interests and developmental stages throughout the year.

We are also proud of the heartfelt feedback from parents, who consistently highlight the care, attention and individual focus given to each child, and the confidence their children develop during their time with us.

Outdoor Learning

Outdoor learning is a vital part of life at Little APS. Our children love exploring Bell Field, which provides a natural and inspiring environment for discovery in all seasons.
