In celebration of Chinese New Year today, Year 2 listened to Grandfather Tang's Story and then enjoyed the challenge of making the animals from the book using the ancient Chinese puzzles called tangrams. With only 7 pieces, they may look easy, but we can assure you that they require a lot of focus and excellent spatial awareness. The boys also had a go at learning 1 to 10 in Mandarin. Thank you to Jeremy for his pronunciation tips and Hugo for showing us how to write the numbers. Xin Nian Kuai Le!
