What a beautiful sunny day to visit Jodrell Bank Discovery Centre with Year 5.
The boys engaged in a range of scientific experiments. They now know what a ‘Parabolic Reflector’ is!
They learnt about life on the International Space Station, the technology behind the Lovell Telescope and how many moons Jupiter has (it’s more than one).
We had a lovely picnic enjoying the Cheshire countryside before observing the skies in the Planetarium.
